Snowhikers.com offers several bookable trekkings and similar products (henceforth: Trekkin) through the website www.snowhikers.com.
Snow Hikers is a marketplace where consumers meet suppliers (henceforth referred to as: trekking companies, Supplier). Snow Hikers acts solely as an intermediary between you and the trekking company. Snow Hikers is not a party to the contract between you as a customer and the supplier and therefore takes no responsibility or liability to you in respect of the terms and conditions of that contract whether directly or indirectly.

Snow Hikers is a private trekking company with offices in Kulhan, Gujrara Mansingh, Uttarakhand. We are a growing outdoor and adventure company in Uttarakhand. Over 5000 people have been through the Snow Hikers experience over the last 2 years. Our aim is to be ideal adventure company for you.
Applicability of the terms of use
These ‘Terms and Conditions’, together with our ‘Privacy Policy’, are bound on every part of the Website. Visitors of the Website may use the Website only on condition that they accept the Terms of Use and read and understand the Privacy Policy. By using the Website or any part of it means you accept that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, and agree to be bound by all parts of them.

Personal Details:
Snow Hikers only collects and processes the personal data it needs. Processing in the sense of the General Data Protection Regulation is understood to mean; any action with regard to personal data, such as collecting, recording, storing and providing.
Your booking details are important in order to establish contact between you and the trekking company of your choice.
Your email address and phone number will be requested so that you can be contacted by the relevant trekking company and you can be kept informed about the status of your booking and possible changes.
Your personal data will only be passed on to the relevant trekking companyof your choice. If your data needs to be exchanged with a third party other than the one mentioned above, your permission will always be requested.
If Snow Hikers has a legal obligation to provide data, your data will be processed within the framework of this legal obligation.
Storage:
If you make a booking with us, we store your data on a secure server. Only authorized employees will have access to your information. The employees concerned are all bound by a contractual obligation of confidentiality.
Snow Hikers never sells your personal data to third parties.
Cookies:
Snow Hikers collects and analyses information about the use of this website.
Storage Period:
The personal data collected by Snow Hikers will not be kept longer than necessary for the achievement of the purposes for which they are collected and used. The retention period for the collected data of finalized bookings will be a maximum of 6 months after the date of booking.
Copyright
As between you and Snow Hikers, the Website is and remains protected by copyright and/or any other intellectual property rights. You acquire no rights in the Website, and in any names, trade names, and distinctive signs of any nature (including trademarks) published on the Website. You may access and view the Website, but not incorporate it into other websites, and not copy, present, license, publish, download, upload, send or make it perceptible in any other way without our prior written consent.
Warranties
We make all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information published in or through the Website, but Snow Hikers does not provide any warranties. Snow Hikers may correct, modify, amend, enhance, improve and make any other changes to our website and our services at any time or discontinue displaying or providing any content or features without a notice to you, being a website visitor, a traveler or a trekking company.
Registration
The use of the Snow Hikers platform can generally be done anonymously. Certain types of use of Snow Hikers website, such as the making of bookings, require registration. During registration, the user sends an electronic registration form and consents to the General Terms and Conditions. The registration with Snow Hikers is only concluded once a confirmation is sent to the e-mail address specified by the user. A natural person must be over the age of 18 in order to register.
Booking Policy
– Once you pay a 15% deposit, your booking is made, you receive a payment confirmation and the availability is checked again. Once your trek is confirmed you will receive a booking confirmation with all trekking and contact details.
– You have the option of paying the rest of your payment on arrival at your destination. This can be a cash or credit card payment at the office of the operating trekking company. If you choose to pay 100% to Snow Hikers we will handle the financials with the operating trekking company.
You must be in possession of the necessary travel insurance and travel documents required for your booked destination.
Cancellation Policy
– You can change your reservation by contacting our trekking experts to discuss the possibilities. Extra costs for changing the booking might occur. You don’t have any rights to a (partially) reimbursement or refund of the initially paid deposit if you change your booking.
– When you cancel your booking you will lose your paid deposit under all circumstances. Please contact us to arrange your cancellation.
– In the case of greater force your paid deposit will not be reimbursed or refunded. Snow Hikers withholds the right to change your booking to an alternative trek as offered by the same local trekking operator.
– If all the accommodations of this trekking are booked and confirmed, you will lose your deposit of 30% at all times. If you cancel within 14 days of your start date, you will lose your full booking amount
Payments
You pay a deposit of 15%. This amount will reserve your dates. The outstanding amount can be paid directly to the trekking company upon arrival. It’s as easy as that. With some treks, the complete payment (100%) has to be done prior to departure into the bank account of Snow Hikers. Before making the booking, please check precisely whether the respective trekking is subject to this payment condition.
If you did not pay for the booked Product or if your credit card is revoked, your claim to receive the Product is canceled. Such an instance shall be regarded as a cancellation and the cancellation policy shall apply. All prices on Snow Hikers are quoted per person and include all taxes. Local taxes may be charged on site. These prices specified by the Suppliers may be subjected to special conditions, for example with regards to cancellation and the refunding of payments made. Before making the booking, please check precisely whether the respective service agreement is subject to separate conditions. There are two possible outcomes:
√ There is availability
We ask once again for a deposit of 15% to secure all accommodation for you. This second payment must be made within one week in order not to lose availability. The remaining 70% must be paid at least two (2) weeks before the start of the trekking.
X There is no availability
If there is no availability, we will look for other starting dates or another trekking in agreement with you. Are there no other options for you? Then your deposit of 15% will be refunded.

Snow Hikers does not recommend or endorse such content, and will not have any liability relating to it. Where Snow Hikers links to third-party websites, your use such websites at your own risk. We recommend reading the policies of these websites and review how these websites may process personally identifiable data relating to you. You have to provide a photo identification, medical health certificate and a scan copy of confirmation of payment made.
Yes, you can cancel the booking due to any reason. But you have to give us a written declaration for cancelling the package.
